How to Contribute Data to NHNM

In addition to the field work completed by its professional staff, Natural Heritage New Mexico depends on the observations of scientists and knowledgeable amateur naturalists to continue building its statewide database on the locations of rare taxa and natural plant communities.

Data can be contributed via online data entry forms at http://nm-cis.unm.edu/partners/wde, with a downloadable spreadsheet, or with the downloadable forms below.

Once received, your observation will be reviewed NHNM staff. If appropriate, it will be incorporated into the database as a new record, or used to update an existing record. If you wish to contribute spatial data please contact our Data Manager.

To view or print an observation form, click on the appropriate link below. Forms are available in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.

Please Note:
Microsoft Word: Be sure to view the forms in "Print Layout" or information in the header will not be visible.
Adobe Acrobat: You must have the Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to view the Acrobat file. Click on the Acrobat Reader icon below to download a free reader.

If you are unable to view or download these forms, please contact NHNM at (505) 277-3822 or e-mail NHNM and we will provide digital copies of any forms you require.
