General Description
Pacific Marten ??(Martes caurina) is medium- to large-sized (0.6-1.2 m) weasel that is distributed across the western U.S. and British Columbia, Canada. In New Mexico it is found in the Jemez, Sangre de Cristo and San Juan Mountains. They inhabit dense conifer forests, especially spruce-fir forests.
