General Description
Sagebrush Sparrow (Artemisiospiza nevadensis) is a small (12-15 cm) sparrow that occurs as summer and winter residents in different portions of New Mexico. They form pairs before arriving in the sagebrush habitat where they breed. They winter in desert scrub and grassland habitat.
