General Description
Lang Canyon Talussnail ?(Sonorella painteri) is a medium-sized (shell height 1.2 cm) terrestrial snail that is only found on a few talus slopes around 1,868 m elevation in Long Canyon of the San Luis Mountains, Hidalgo County, New Mexico. This species was named to honor Charles W. Painter who first collected shells of this species.
