General Description

Lynch Tadpole Shrimp (Lepidurus lemmoni) is a large (34-46 mm) freshwater branchiopod that is distributed across the western U.S. and portions of Canada and Mexico. They have adapted to their harsh environment by producing eggs that can survive in dormancy during periods of desiccation.
