General Description
Mexican ?Beavertail Fairy Shrimp (Thamnocephalus mexicanus) is a large freshwater branchiopod that is found scattered through Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and northern Mexico. In New Mexico they live in Dona Ana County and inhabit alkaline, cloudy, warm temporary pools and playas.
