General Description
Common Ground-Dove (Columbina passerina) is a small (15-18 cm), stout dove that is distributed from the southern U.S. to northern South America. They live on cultivated land and in villages and towns, and desert riparian woodlands and shrublands. They eat small seeds from wild grasses and weeds.
