General Description

Arizona Montane Vole (Microtus montanus arizonensis) is a small (14-22 cm) rodent that is found at Centerfire Bog in Catron County, New Mexico and in Apache and Greenlee Counties, Arizona. They are found in dense, tall grass in moist microhabitats. They are known to make and use tunnels and paths through the grass.
