General Description
Olive-sided Flycatcher (Contopus cooperi) is a medium-sized (18-20 cm) songbird that ranges across most of Canada, the northeastern and western U.S., down through Central America and northern South America. They are associated with forests and woodlands, especially coniferous forests and forest edges. They fly out from tree branches to catch insects on the wing and then return to perch.
