General Description
Pygmy Nuthatch (Sitta pygmaea) is a small (10 cm) permanent resident songbird that ranges from Canada to Mexico and occurs throughout New Mexico. They are closely associated with mature ponderosa pine forests and feed on pine seeds and insects.
