General Description
Metcalf Holospira Snail ?(Holospira metcalfi) is a terrestrial snail that only occurs on the north face of Howells Ridge in the Little Hatchet Mountains in Grant County, New Mexico. They are found around the edges of large stones among dry-adapted vegetation at the base of limestone cliffs. They are often aggregated in groups of three to ten individuals.
