General Description
Cooke's Peak Woodlandsnail (Ashmunella macromphala) is a medium-sized (shell height 5.4-6.5 mm) montane terrestrial snail that only occurs on the northern slopes Cooke?s Peak in Luna County, New Mexico. They inhabit the edges of talus surrounded by oaks (Quercus sp.).
