General Description
Evening Grosbeak (Coccothraustes vespertinus) is a medium-sized (16-18 cm) songbird with bright yellow, black, and white coloration (males). They are found across most of the U.S. and southern Canada. They are social birds that erratically migrate in flocks to find better food availability. They inhabit conifer and mixed conifer-deciduous woodlands.
