GIS Modeling

In 2017, Natural Heritage New Mexico became a modeling center as part of the NatureServe network. With the goal of promoting sound decision-making and conservation planning through quality science, NHNM has begun identifying candidate species for distribution modeling and has developed a series of initial models.
