General Description
Stems glandular-pilose, leaves lanceolate, decurrent, tomentose beneath, strongly glandular above; heads nearly cylindrical, not subtended by leafy bracts, 30-35 flowers per capitula, involucres strongly graduated, bracts scarious and whitish at the tip (1).
