New Mexico Rare Plant Conservation Strategy 2017 |
Research – we conduct collaborative applied research and monitoring on the impacts of environmental change on rare plants of the Southwest to support management and inform policy. | ![]() |
Inventory – we work with botanist throughout the state to gather and database observations on rare plant species. | |
Modeling – using the latest GIS and remote sensing tools we develop models of potential habitat and ranges of rare plants. | |
Planning – we provide data, analysis, and communications support for conservation planning. |
